Description
A shared services platform for contractors and suppliers. Its components could include a yard for tubulars, tools and equipment; mechanical and electromechanical workshops; welding, fabrication and repair areas; stores for spare parts and protective equipment; spaces for inspection and non-destructive testing; parking and manoeuvring for heavy transport; offices; connectivity, access control and environmental management; and spaces for technical training and supplier assessment. It could be developed through private investment, business partnership or public-private collaboration, subject to applicable law and project feasibility.
